Sailing the Skies

This is the story of racing magnificent sailplanes. Updrafts of warm air take them on their flight through the breathtaking scenery of the English countryside, while competing in the Club Class National Championships in August 2007.

The video introduces four young aviators to competitive gliding under the supervision of an experienced instructor flying a DG1000T sailplane. The story reveals the passion that pilots and students have for our spectacular sport, giving us an insight as to why British teams continue winning Gold at the World Championships.
