The AR6201 is a high performance, compact, VHF-AM transceiver. The COM mounts into a standard 2 1/4" instrument hole and is available in single block. The AR6201 is built using state-of-the-art DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology resulting in a highly efficient transmitter and very sensitive receiver. The AR6201 consumes a maximum of 1.2A during transmit and 85mA during receive standby at 12VDC. The unit operates with an input voltage of 9-36VDC. The transmitter power output is better than 6 watts.The AR6201 operates on a frequency range of 118.000 MHz to 136.990 MHz with selectable channel spacing of 25kHz or 8.33 kHz. Standard or dynamic microphones can be used. A voltage meter and OAT (Outside Air Temperature) readout with optional temperature sensor is built in. The new dual monitor mode allows two channels to be received to provide the ability to scan for radio traffic with built in intercom. A basic intercom is built in. The AR6201 is ETSO and TSO certified.
