• How do the FAA Handbooks differ from the Dale Crane AMT Series textbooks?
The FAA maintenance handbooks were written almost 40 years ago, and had very few updates over the years (with the exception of the new FAA General Handbook). The AMT Series textbooks (ASAMAINTECAI, ASAMAINTTECH) provide Part 147 training requirements that reflect modern operating procedures and technologies, and are written by an experienced industry expert.
