The AFE GA-2 constant wear aircrew lifejacket. Meets new Air Navigation Order requirements.

We’ve always been particular about safety equipment here at AFE, so when we found a lifejacket that exceeded the performance of our top-selling GA-1 lifejacket, we were naturallyinterested. When we found that it cost less than the GA-1 we were sceptical. When we saw it, we were convinced!

The NEW AFE GA-2 lifejacket offers a class-leading 180 Newtons of buoyancy. The CE standard for lifejackets, EN396, specifies a minimum 150N of buoyancy, so this exceeds the minimum specification (and that of more expensive lifejackets sold elsewhere) by over 15%.

The GA-2 retains the internal seams of the GA-1, so reducing the risk of chafing, and the durable outer stole in two-tone blue & red* covers a high-visibility bladder with retroreflective tape for improved night visibility. Heavy-duty webbing straps with non-magnetic fittings, a adjustable crotch strap, sea light and whistle are supplied as standard. The GA-2 comes with a three-year warranty, AFE recommend that any aircrew lifejacket is serviced annually.
