Aviation Supplies Administrator

Airplan Flight Equipment (AFE) is a long-established and successful aviation publisher and distributer of pilot supplies, with a particular emphasis on flying training products. As part of our growth strategy we are now looking for an Aviation Supplies Administrator, based at our Manchester airport premises.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the hands-on operation of AFE’s customer service, stock control and dispatching functions, liaising with a world-wide customer base that includes airlines, air forces, flying schools and tens of thousands of individual pilots. There is also the opportunity to get involved in the various projects and developments involved in our on-going expansion and that of our group companies.

This role is ideally suited to someone with flying or General Aviation experience who has an organised and methodical manner, whilst also being able to multi-task and ‘muck-in’ with the rest of the team when required. Attitude, mindset and an interest for all things aviation are more important than specific professional experience as full training will be given for this varied and rewarding role. Energy, enthusiasm and good interpersonal skills are essential.

We offer practical support for those who see their vocation in the aviation world and most previous holders of this post have later progressed to a career as a professional pilot.
